Sony
Camcorder PC Installation
- Insert
the Picture Package USB driver software in a Windows Computer with
administrator privileges.
- Follow
the onscreen installation prompts
- Wait
to restart the computer
- Plug
the Sony Camera in the
USB
Port
- Turn
it on to play/edit
- Restart
the computer
USB Video Streaming needs to be turned on. Refer to
page 84 & 85 in the Camera Operations Guide.
The software is legal to use on any computer.
Macintosh Installation
Macintosh computers have camera drivers built into
the operating system
MACINTOSH FIREWIRE (DV-Firewire) Tape Storage
- Turn
the camera on
- Select
Play/Edit
- Open
iMovie
- Plug
the firewire into the computer
- On
the bottom left of the iMovie window move the selector to the video
camers
- Select
the import button.
- The
video will automatically import.
